Dancing Queens!

Yesterday Brian and I got to go see our nieces in a dance competition! It was lots of fun for me and Brian was a good sport and happy to support the girlies. One of my favorite things about dance shows is seeing all the costumes--whoever came up with the idea for sparkly baseball team uniforms is a genius. That being said, if anyone ever puts any of my children in a fishnet shirt for any reason it will be a problem.

Anyway, first we got to watch Abby!

Abby's dance was to High School Musical, her East HS cheerleader uniform even had lights! She did an awesome job!

Ella is really concentrating!

Ella was next. This was her first dance performance! She was so brave and looked just like a princess!

Here's Kate, 'Singing in the Rain'

Kate's dance was to Singing in the Rain, she had a fancy hat, gloves and a parasol. So cute! Kate was very graceful in her pretty clothes. 

All the girls did such a great job! It was fun to get to see all three of them dance. They informed me that one of the best parts is getting to wear pretty makeup.

On the dancing note, yes, I'm still going to ballet. Yes, it still hurts. Last week I had a 'private lesson', I was the only student. My teacher was nice enough to dance along with me so it wasn't weird. It was a lot of fun though!

In other news, Brian graduates on Friday! Hooray! He has one assignment and one presentation left. We're relieved, because they really need him at his work! He managed to work 59 hours last week while finishing school. Yikes! Good thing he's so awesome. We can't wait to celebrate!
